Welcome to Stamfordham Village School

'Stamfordham First School provides an outstanding education for children between the ages of two and nine years, with all the benefits of a small rural village school in Northumberland.' Ofsted 2009

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Stamfordham First School website.  Inside you will find information about the wide range of activities that are available to pupils, as well as lots more about our creative curriculum and the impressive standards we achieve in all that we do.

Stamfordham First is a happy and caring school, very much involved with the the local community.  We offer a stimulating and structured creative environment in which your child can develop as a whole person.

Visitors to school comment on the engagement and enjoyment of our pupils and their attitudes to each other. We believe that the relaxed but respectful relationships that exist between pupils, staff, parents, governors and the local community are a strength of the school, contributing hugely to family well-being.

The school has a wide open door policy for new and existing parents, so please do not hesitate to contact school if you require a guided visit, information or have any queries. We are also always seeking to improve, and so if you can't find what you are looking for on the site, please do let us know.   Enjoy your visit!

Yours,

Claire McKinney

Head Teacher

On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors of Stamfordham First School
