Remote Learning

 

School attendance is essential for pupils to get the most out of their school experience, including for their attainment, well-being and wider life choices.

There may be circumstances where pupils may not be able to receive in-person education:

* School closures or restrictions on attendance, where school access for pupils is restricted

* When a pupil is unable to attend school but able to learn (recovering from an operation or illness)

What will we provide?

We will review each situation individually, considering the following:

* The needs of the child

* The parents / carers

* Advice from any medical professionals

* SEND needs

* What digital equipment a pupil has access to

Once we have considered this, we will then create a plan with the family so that remote learning is easily accessible and manageable for both pupil and the parents / carers.

If a pupil is in receipt of Free School Meals, we will work with our catering team to provide this.
