Whilst we are fully committed to supporting our Key Worker families during this time, it is my duty of care to remind you all that using this provision will put your child and your family at greater risk of infection than keeping them at home. They will be attending this provision alongside other children whose parents are likely, due to the nature of their jobs, to have high levels of exposure to symptomatic patients. Whilst we will do everything in our power to ensure the safety of your children I do urge you to consider all possible alternatives to taking up this offer.
Stamfordham Primary School's emergency care will run from 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday. We will not be providing additional care outside of these hours.
Children will not be provided with a school meal unless they are registered as having pupil premium status and therefore all children will be required to bring a packed lunch, morning snack and personal water bottle daily.
Please can I remind all parents that they will need to provide proof of their Key Worker status as laid out in my previous whole school email.
Also, as in the previous set of instructions, we will require an email the day before to let us know if your child is coming the following day. This enables us to plan for our ratios flexibly but also safely. We will not be able to accept children when their parents have not booked in. Ideally this email needs to be sent by midday the day before.

I need to make you aware that we will only be in a position to run this provision for as long as we have safe ratios in place. If members of my team become symptomatic and are required to self isolate then we may be required to either reduce this service down to only cater for families where both parents are Key Workers, or we may be forced to close completely. This will be our last resort.
