WRAP AROUND PROVISION

“It gives them such great confidence mixing with those outside of their normal class.”

“Whether I am at work, or just trying to get stuff done, I am so grateful for the time the after school club gives me!”

Join Janice and Pam in the mornings before school for a nutritious breakfast and fun activities – a great way to start the day!

When school is finished the fun keeps on going! Our After School club offers a huge variety of activities to complement and further enrich the school experience for everyone.

Our responsibilities:

Breakfast and After School will:

  • Value all children as individuals and support them according to their needs.
  • Care for your child’s safety and happiness.
  • Focus on the well-being of every child ensuring all members of our community are of equal worth.
  • Through the Equality Act 2010: value diversity, tackle discrimination, promote equality and foster good relationships between all members of the school community.
  • Continually review levels of engagement across all activities to ensure equity and fairness in access and engagement.
  • Provide toys and books which encourage positive images of different cultures.
  • Be open and welcoming and encourage all parents to be involved in the operation of the club.
  • Praise and encourage all children when appropriate.
  • Ensure that the staff / child ratios meet the required guidelines.
  • Deal properly and professionally with concerns and complaints.

You and your child’s responsibility:

Breakfast and After School staff are dedicated to your child’s well-being.  In turn we encourage the children to be polite and show care, consideration and respect to the staff and to each other.  If a behavioural problem occurs, you will be contacted to discuss a resolution.  If the behaviour persists it may be necessary to exclude your child.

The local authority will issue a monthly invoice and prompt payment is much appreciated.

At SPS we believe wrap around care should be available to all, so if pricing creates a barrier, please contact us to discuss the financial support options available to all families. This would be in confidence and without judgement.
